Description
The lenses of the V2 version only fit the Rex Specs V2 goggle frame.
The new lenses have a stronger curvature. As a result, the goggle frame is further behind the eyes and the field of vision is larger.
Also for improved visibility provide the missing Rex Specs logo which is now integrated into the goggle frame and the increased width of the lens. The material is almost twice as thick as the previous model and is therefore even more stable.
All lenses including the clear, offer 99.8% UV protection. Depending on the color, the replacement lenses have different light transmittances.
Advantages of the V2 lenses:
Larger field of vision
No disturbing logo
Better hold in the frame
Greater material thickness (more stability)
UV 400
Different colors available

More information about the discs

How do I change the discs on the Rex Specs?
Discs with different levels of light transmission and colors are available. Here you can find out how to change the discs.

When do I replace the Rex Specs discs?
Dogs use their eyes to orient themselves into the distance ( see
Blog: How do dogs see? ). Small scratches and dirt on the windows disturb
or hinder the dog’s vision less than it is a problem for us humans,
if glasses are dirty or scratched. In the picture you can see what the Rex Specs
Dog glasses can take everything away, and in such a case you could already have
think about a new disc. -
How stable are the discs
The polycarbonate panes, up to 3mm thick, protect against foreign bodies and are splinter-free. Rex Specs passes the ANSI Z87.1 bullet test. ANSI Z87.1 means: a 16-gram bullet hits the pane at a speed of 270 km/h
